Relationships
Here's information of the various characters Jin interacts with most throughout the series.

Yusuke Urameshi
This is the guy Jin is seen interacting most with. They meet for the first time ever in Episode 27: Masters of Disguise, where Team Mashotsukai is first introduced into The Dark Tournament. Jin is immediately very kind and silly with Yusuke and Yusuke can't help but enjoy his light-hearted way of looking at things.
In the english dub, Kurama, Kuwabara, and Botan are seen having a conversation where Kuwabara says Yusuke and Jin are like twins. Botan then adds that that will make it difficult for them to fight one another and Kurama finally laughs, saying Botan doesn't understand brothers well. This led a lot of people to believe they are in some way related, but they are not! In the english dub, the only thing Kurama was trying to say was that even brothers have spats and fight.
I watched these episodes in Japanese and I honestly can't recall this conversation. I watched the exact scene and the conversation was entirely different.
Anyway, Jin and Yusuke have a similar liking of fighting and Jin continues to watch Yusuke's later matches in The Dark Tournament, even going as far as to stand up for him, ready to fight for his well-being, when he was unconscious once and unable to do it himself. Jin likes Yusuke because he says he is a lot of fun and exciting to fight. When Jin and Yusuke meet again during The Makai Tournament, they greet each other with, "Hey buddy!" Jin rubs Yusuke's head and they are just ecstatic to see one another. They are like distant best friends. Yusuke cares a lot for Jin.

Touya, the Hexed-Ice User
Although they rarely speak onscreen, Touya and Jin are practically inseperable after being defeated in The Dark Tournament and entering The Makai Tournament. They are clearly companions and interact with one another more than any other members on their Team Mashotsukai (although Touya does speak kind words to Gama before he dies, so they may have been friends, yet I honestly doubt it. He was probably just being respectful because he was dying/died.)
In Episode 37, after Jin gets bored of waiting to fight Yusuke and walks off, Touya says, "That lousy Jin," to the rest of the team. It could be that he was saying it in a kind, joking manner (although Touya is 99% of the time, serious and humorless) because he and Jin are close friends...or that he was actually angry that Jin couldn't take things more seriously. Regardless, they sit together later in the tournament and generally speak only with one another even though they hang with Chu and Rinku.
Touya is represented as a very sincere character who can and does distinguish right and wrong and he is not cold-hearted. He is very reserved, however, and I think this leads many to believe he's hiding something. That may be so, but it may not be something bad. I think Touya enjoys being around Jin because he strives for that serene nature Jin has.

Bakken
The only other literal interaction we see among Jin and those around him are the few seconds where Jin gets bored waiting to fight Yusuke and decides he doesn't feel like fighting anymore. Bakken doesn't like this carefree talk and tells Jin to cut it out and remain on the platform. He grips Jin's shoulder in order to express how serious he is. Jin gives him a death-glare and tells him he'll do what he wants. Bakken fearfully lets go.
Later, after Bakken is defeated by Yusuke, Jin tells Yusuke how happy he is that he defeated Bakken because he was a bastard and a moron and Jin didn't really like him to begin with. Yusuke gets a kick out of this. ^_^

Team Mashotsukai
From what is seen onscreen, the only members of this team in direct contact with Jin are Touya and Bakken. I'll go more into depth into the entire team on the Team Mashotsukai section.
